The Shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose" or to chill and be laid back, is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii or surf culture. It can also be used as a welcome/goodbye sign or sign of approval or praise.
How to make a shaka: It consists of extending the thumb and smallest finger while holding the three middle fingers curled, and gesturing in salutation while presenting the front or back of the hand; the hand may be rotated back and forth for emphasis.
Approx 16-18" chain.
