In a world where almost everything can be made by a machine, these little gemstone carvings are something pretty special. Each one is carved by hand by Homulo, a remarkably talented stone carver from Minas Gerais, in southeastern Brazil. Working with natural stone and tools, he brings each tiny shape to life individually - meaning no two will ever be exactly alike.

We handpicked every carving directly from our Brazilian gemstone wholesaler, choosing the shapes, stones and little personalities that caught our eye.

Because these are genuinely handmade, you may notice tiny differences in shape, detail and finish from piece to piece. Add in the natural variations already found within the gemstone itself, and you're getting a truly one-of-a-kind little piece of art.

They're small, they're intricate, and they take considerably more time and skill to create than a machine-cut carving - which is part of what makes them so special.
